ABOUT ME
THE BEGINNING
My name is Chris.
I was born in Los Angeles to immigrant parents from Costa Rica and it is to them that I owe everything.

My understanding of what real work ethic is, and the importance of sacrifice and determination, comes from the love, patience, and teachings of my parents.
I graduated high school from a performing and fine arts academy, and went straight into studying animation for the next three years. Soon I was offered an internship with the Walt Disney Company that I couldn't pass up and left my college degree, half completed...
I worked in Orlando for almost a year and created some of the fondest memories and deepest connections. If you ever want to hear about my experiences, I never pass up the opportunity to share those stories.
Needless to say, I was never the same again.
THE MIDDLE
After the internship I had a new outlook on life. I was energized and realized I wanted to be my own boss. I know who I was and what I wanted for myself.
Long story short, I switched majors and life goals, and here I am 10 years later with my Associate's, Bachelor's and Master's in Film and Media Studies and my own photography business.
Since then I have worked various photography gigs, from weddings to working in a couple studios, to even working as an editor and published photographer.
I have done it all, and yet, I'm still hungry for more experience.

TODAY...
I run my business from the comfort of my in-home studio in Sacramento, California.
​
I have had the pleasure of working with global brands like Samsonite, Kingsford, Samuel Hubbard, Nature's Way, and many more. Alongside this I have been working with small businesses and start ups to help elevate their brand and online presence whilst keeping within their budgets.
​
I was voted one of the top ten best commercial photographers in Sacramento here, and I was also named Fear Factor Live champion in Orlando, so you can line up for autographs (Yes, really).
